Work Plan

The IMPaCT-Data work plan is detailed in the IMPaCT strategic plan, available on the Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII) website.

The work is distributed in 4 work packages. Details of the deliverables for each work package are available in the project deliverables .

PT1.
PLATFORM

Sustainable development of the IMPaCT Platform

Tasks:

Design and deployment of the platform access point (web portal).
Deploying a hybrid federated infrastructure.
Analysis of the different Data Governance models and definition of the model to access the platform resources.
Development of platform security requirements and its access control protocols.
Discovery and Access Mechanisms.

PT2.
USE CASES

IMPaCT Cohort Data: Use Cases

Tasks:

Integration of data from the IMPaCT cohort.
IMPaCT-Genómica and IMPaCT Personalized Medicine Projects.
Contribution to the genetic variability repository of the Spanish population.
Technical interoperability with European data infrastructure projects.

PT3.
INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

Innovative Solutions using HPC and AI

Tasks:

Development and implementation of tools compatible with federated processing for the analysis of genomic, clinical, and medical imaging data, and the training of AI models.
Development of scalable workflows for computational management of biomedical data.
Implementation of a platform for evaluating technologies used for processing and analysis of biomedical data.

PT4.
COORDINATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND DISSEMINATION

Coordination, Sustainability, and Dissemination

Tasks:

Scientific-Technical Coordination.
Communication and Dissemination Plan.
Incorporation of the sex and gender dimension in biomedical research.
Coordination and scientific-technical interoperability with other European and international projects and initiatives.
Design and development of the platform's long-term sustainability plan.
