Mission, vision, and objectives of IMPaCT-Data (IMP/00019) developed between 2021 and 2024.
IMPaCT-Data is the IMPaCT pillar (Infraestructura de Medicina de Precisión asociada a la Ciencia y la Tecnología - Infrastructure for Precision Medicine associated with Science and Technology) aimed at developing and validating an digital platform for the integration and joint analysis of clinical, molecular, and genetic data for secondary use, in coordination with the other IMPaCT pillars. Similarly, this program will generate models that provide timely answers to questions relevant to the Spanish National Health System, promoting the generation of high-level knowledge based on these approaches.
To establish the infrastructure for the secondary use of data from the Spanish National Health System, including electronic health records, medical imaging, and genomic repositories, and to contribute to the health system with the knowledge and methodology that is generated.
The main objective is to develop the first iteration of the infrastructure and protocols necessary to coordinate, integrate, manage and analyze clinical data, including medical imaging information, and genomics, so that it is possible to implement Personalized Medicine in a coordinated and effective way in the different Health Care Systems.
This objective is broken down into the following technical objectives.
